Books & Blankets | Book Community

Books & Blankets is an intentional book community where we slow down, read together, and reflect in community. This month, we’re expanding the experience with Books & Blankets: Coffee Shop Edition, gathering in person at a Cream + Sugar Coffeehouse for warm drinks, meaningful conversation, and connection.

For those who prefer to join from home, we’ll still be meeting online, so you can participate in the way that feels best for you.

Whether you’re curled up with a blanket at home or sipping something warm in the café, this is a space to show up as you are, listen deeply, and let the words on the page spark reflection in your everyday life. No pressure to finish every page or have all the answers, just come as you are.

This Month’s Read: Cups of You by Karem Lee

Cups of You is a cozy, heartfelt romance set against the backdrop of a neighborhood café, where connection, vulnerability, and love unfold in unexpected ways. As relationships begin to take shape, the story explores what it means to feel safe, seen, and open to something real. Through soft moments, emotional depth, and the comfort of familiar spaces, Cups of You invites us to reflect on the beauty of slow connections and the courage it takes to let love in.

How It Works

• We read one book over a 4 week period and meet every Thursday to discuss selected chapters.

• You’re welcome to join whether you’ve finished the reading or not.

• Participation looks different for everyone. Listening counts just as much as sharing.

• Online option is still available. Zoom link will be sent upon registration.
